Fans of the role-playing video game will surely be glad about the news that the new DLC pack for "Final Fantasy XV" will see the return of classic series villain, Gilgamesh, the self-proclaimed master swordsman who travels the world in search of rare and powerful weapons. With this announcement, fans just can't wait to learn what the mind-blowing content will be.

Gilgamesh, a boss in "Final Fantasy V," has made regular appearances in games throughout the "Final Fantasy" series. This returning villain in "Final Fantasy XV," who has a variety of appearances often wielding multiple weapons with his many arms, has been featured in more series entries than any other character to date. He has transitioned from a full-fledged villain to a comedic side character.

Haruyoshi Sawatari, "Final Fantasy XV" DLC producer, said in the special edition book that contained details of the DLC, that "The player confronts an enemy called Gilgamesh, who can only be seen in Episode Gladio." He further commented that "in Episode Gladio, you're able to go into areas that cannot be entered in the main game."

Fans of "Final Fantasy XV" will remember a moment in the game when Gladio leaves the gang in order to attend to some business. As soon as he returns, people saw a scar across the chest. It must be Gilgamesh who Gladio has confronted before returning.

With that said, the episode will take place within the main game's storyline -- for those who have played through, one section stands out as a point in the narrative where Episode Gladiolus could occur. With Gilgamesh set to make an appearance in "Final Fantasy XV," fans can conclude that Square Enix isn't hesitant to bring other well-known characters back into the fold.

Meanwhile, it still isn't confirmed as to what form Gilgamesh will take in "Final Fantasy XV." Season Pass is already available to players. The pass' content has yet to be released.
