"One Piece" Chapter 849 left on a major cliffhanger as Lady Pudding is seen whispering something to Luffy and Nami, moments before showing Reiju being severely wounded. Given that shady transaction, many fans are speculating that Lady Pudding staged Reiju's attack in order to get away from marrying Sanji, or at the very least, create a distraction to allow for Luffy's escape. What should fans expect in "One Piece" Chapter 850?
One thing's for sure: Reiju's attack will ignite a war between the Vinsmokes and the Charlottes, regardless of who was behind the attack. With so many characters on the line, how will "One Piece" Chapter 850 look like?
Lady Pudding as the culprit?
Several reports have speculated that Lady Pudding is indeed the mastermind behind the attack in "One Piece" Chapter 850. After all, she's got the most motive out of everyone involved. She's currently trapped in a fixed marriage with Sanji, who's only trying to help out his pirate friends from imprisonment. Furthermore, it's believed that she is in possession of a Devil's Fruit ability that she has yet to be able to control.
It appears, however, that Lady Pudding is indeed in love with Sanji, but is second-guessing his feelings for her. Perhaps Lady Pudding was merely trying to make everything easier for him by bailing out of the marriage in "One Piece" Chapter 850. After all, Sanji is very close with Reiju, and will not likely sit still after his friend was attacked.
Vinsmokes versus Charlottes
Spoilers for "One Piece" Chapter 850 also hinted that the Vinsmokes will wage war against Big Mom and the rest of her Charlotte clan. Sanji would likely be the first person to draw blood to avenge his sister.
