One of the fan-favorite characters in "The Walking Dead" series is the docile Carol (Melissa McBride), who was seen to have gone a transformation in terms of her capacity to kill. Carol has been missing for most episodes of "The Walking Dead" Season 7, but the midseason finale gave hints that fans may see more of her in the second half.

Carol was last seen in the second episode of "The Walking Dead" Season 7. She had a meeting with Ezekiel (Khary Payton) and his pet tiger, Shiva. Carol also had to have some time to herself after feeling guilty over having to kill people to survive, which is totally against her moral principles. In the previous season, fans saw a different side to Carol and they're wondering if Melissa McBride's character will resume fighting and get back into guerilla mode.

In an interview with Vanity Fair, "The Walking Dead" Season 7 Melissa McBride revealed that fans will see more of her character once the series returns next year. Although she thinks Carol might be better off in guerilla mode, she's still glad that her character is taking it slow after the traumatic events that she went through. "I'm glad she's taking a little time for herself," she told the publication.

It remains to be seen if Carol will return to fighting in "The Walking Dead" Season 7 but speculation is rife that she will - with Ezekiel's help. Ezekiel met up with her and got to know a bit of her personality and it is likely that he could be the one to break the fighter out of her shell. However, this remains to be seen and fans have yet to find out if Carol and Morgan (Lennie James) can convince the King to help them take down Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan).

With Carol getting more screen time in "The Walking Dead" Season 7, fans speculate that she could be the next one to die. Theories suggest that she will definitely get back to being a toughie and take part in bringing down the Saviors, but will get killed in doing so. In other predictions, Carol will actually live and have the time to explore more of The Kingdom with Morgan before something bad happens to her.
