‘Super Mario Run’ Latest News & Update: Play Game With 5 Secret Characters; Unlock Tips Revealed
With the recent release of "Super Mario Run" on iOS devices, many gamers have started exploring the Nintendo mobile game's Mushroom Kingdom using the character Mario. Aside from the iconic plumber, gamers can also unlock five playable characters and here are gaming tips on how to get them.
"Super Mario Run" gave avid fans of the "Mario" franchise a chance to experience playing the classic game on their iOS devices. With Mario running through various levels and jumping over obstacles or on opponents, the game also has five other playable characters that can be unlocked following certain conditions.
The easiest character to unlock would be Toad who can be obtained when gamers link their Nintendo accounts to the new iOS mobile game, according to "Super Mario Run" gaming tips posted on iDigital Times. As for Peach, the princess can be unlocked once a player has completed all of the levels within the game's six worlds.
Meanwhile, the rest of the playable characters can only be unlocked through the game's Kingdom Builder and by building the characters' homes using specific colored Toads. These characters are Yoshi, Toadette and Mario's partner Luigi.
To unlock Luigi, gamers will need 150 Green Toads and 150 Purple Toads to build his house. For Yoshi, the building requirements consist of 30 Red and 30 Yellow Toads. For Toadette, gamers will need to collect 200 Red, 200 Blue and 200 Green Toads.
"Super Mario Run" players can get Toads by participating in the Toad Rally challenge. However, gamers will need to complete the said gaming mode several times to acquire the needed Toads.
In other news, the new Nintendo mobile game is expected to reach an impressive download and sales milestone during its first 30 days on the market. "Super Mario Run" downloads are expected to reach 30 million with an estimated revenue of $60 million, according to SuperData, as cited by Game Spot.
