Huawei, a China-based telecommunication brand, is expected to release its latest flagship phone in the first quarter of 2017. The Huawei P9, the company's flagship for 2016, though, at first experienced a couple of bumpy road in the US market, had been generally successful in worldwide sales. The same success is now anticipated for Huawei P10, more over that its leaked "bezel-less prototype images" have received good reviews from consumers, according to sources.
A few weeks ago, a photo appeared on Weibo that showed an alleged prototype of Huawei P10. The photo shows a black smartphone that sports a curved-display and a sleek design. A dual lens back camera with flash is seen on the back part that has a Leica brand name printed on the upper right side of the phone. A round fingerprint sensor is located at the back as well. The phone in the photo is said to have a 5.5-inch Quad HD display. It can also be noted that there is an absence of a home screen button instead the brand name's "Huawei Logo" is printed on the space below the screen.
Some of the features of Huawei P9 are expected to be carried over to Huawei P10, according to reports. The Huawei P10 is said to run on the latest Nougat with the company's latest EMUI 5.0 interface. Its predecessor, Huawei P9, will have an upgrade to this software in early 2017 as well, though a Beta preview for Nougat is already available on the unit out of the box.
A list of specs for a Huawei LON- L29 had been published on GFXBench. The same specs are expected in the upcomingHuawei P10, reports stated. The featured model is said to have an Android 7.0 with an Octa core CPU @ 2.3 GHz. A 5.6GB RAM with either an 112GB or 231 GB storage is specified. The back camera is 11MP which is capable of UHD or 4K video. The front camera is 7MP and is capable of a 3264 x 1840 video.
There has been no official statement yet from the company on Huawei P10. A lot of changes, improvement and updates can be made on both the designs and the software from now until its release date, which is rumored to be in April 2017.
