'Lizzie McGuire' Former Child Star, Hilar Duff, Spills Her Thought About Being Too Young, Getting Married, and Divorce

Actress Hilary Duff is best known for her Disney TV Series, "The Lizzie McGuire." After which, she has become a successful singer that inspired many teenagers. Unfortunately, she disappeared in the limelight after her marriage with ex-husband, Mike Homrie.

In a recent interview with "The Talk" on December 16, Friday, Duff was urged to talk about whether she thinks she's too young when she had her marriage. In a reply, Hilary confirmed that she was just 22-years-old during that time and now, she was divorced and have a 4-year-old son and that she "wouldn't change any of it for the world." Comrie and "Cadet Kelly" star got married back in 2010 and she admitted that she was "so much so young" and that pushed her to feel like she's really ready to tie the knot.

What Caused The Divorce?

As stated by MailOnline, Duff's dream to get back with ex-hubby, Comrie, was finally over. The reason behind is that his estranged spouse was heard flirting with several women in an exclusive restaurant in Beverly Hills.

The court documents were submitted in 2015 after the retired athlete was drunkenly hitting on a waitress and another woman. Comrie was heard telling the waitress how beautiful she was and that he would wait for her after her shift. Meanwhile, after being ignored, he went to another woman, offering her money for sex.

The Last Straw

Their relationship went on and off however, after the horrible incident, Duff decided to file for separation. However, despite being legally separated, she stated that young marriage may still work for others. The co-host of "The Talk", Sharon Osbourne, agreed with Duff's statement and adding "You can't blanket say, 'this is the way it should be. It's on an individual basis. That's the way it has to be."
