Android 7.0 Nougat Latest News & Update: List of All Devices Updated to 7.0 Nougat; Check if Your Device is Included

Android 7.0 Nougat is probably one of the most important products in the mobile business this year, and since its first roll out in August, many smartphone users started to ask questions as to when will their devices get the latest Google operating system. As of today, major smartphone makers have already announced some of their popular handsets to get the latest update from Google. Here are some of the devices which have already gotten or about to get the Android 7.0 Nougat update.

Samsung, LG

The two South Korean smartphone makers already have some of their smartphones updated to Android 7.0 Nougat including the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. There are also speculations that previous releases such as the Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge will not get the 7.0; however, these devices will be updated to the upcoming Android 7.1.1 Nougat, which is expected to happen early next year. On the other hand, LG released its high-end smartphone in September called LG V20 and the device was shipped with Android 7.0 Nougat.

HTC, Huawei

HTC has allegedly promised to bring Android 7.0 Nougat this December on several of its devices such as One M9, A9 and HTC 10; however, this has yet to happen. With less than two weeks to go before the start of another year, the update might happen early January.

Huawei will not be updating to Android 7.0 Nougat this year; however, Huawei P9 and Mate 8 will get the new Google software early next year. Other devices from the Chinese manufacturers will also be updated to 7.0 Nougat such as Nova, Nova Plus, P9 Plus and P9 Lite.

Google Pixel, Motorola

Meanwhile, Google Pixel devices automatically come with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box, and these devices will also get the latest Android Nougat version as soon as it becomes available. On the other hand, Motorola Z series smartphones have already been updated to the latest version of Android.  However, fans are quite surprised that the software has yet to arrive on Motorola G4, G3, E3 Power and the Droid Turbo series.
