Ian Somerhalder's Ex, Nina Dobrev Gets Controversial On Instagram Post; Ungrateful To 'The Vampire Diaries

It appears like Nina Dobrev had her fans wondering about her Instagram post. Her Instagram followers are wondering if she was dissing the cast and crew of The Vampire Diaries. Is there an ill will amongst her and the TVD cast?

International Business Times recently revealed that Nina Dobrev mighthave tossed a shade against "The Vampire Diaries" cast and team in her new Instagram post. Dobrev posted a photograph of her forthcoming film, which was captioned with an intruiging sentence. Dobrev wrote, "Now that's a team I can work with. So excited to share the new poster for @xXxMovie. Xander Cage is back!"

She uploaded the new cover for the films she stars in with Vin Diesel, Samuel L. Jackson, Ruby Rosse, Tony Jaa, Deepika Padukone and Kris Wu. Fans of Dobrev were all excited for her in her new journey, but the "The Vampire Diaries" dedicated audience seemed unhappy with her IG caption.

Several of Dobrev's followers asked under the comments section if she was shading the cast and crew of "The Vampire Diaries." However, the "Workaholics" star stayed mum instead of responding to her IG followers.

Fans were purportedly hoping to see Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder to reunite in the season finale of "The Vampire Diaries." However, she was not seen in any of the episodes in the eight season. The audience were hoping to see Damon and Elena reunite or have a closure.

In another report, Ian Somerhalder apparently refused to work with Nina Dobrev again. News Every Day suggested that the husband of Nikki Reed thinks that Damon and Stefan do not need to get a happy ending story in the end of the season.

"Let Elena wake up and have these boys gone and never know any of this happened," Somerhalder shared in an interview. Nina Dobrev reportedly left "The Vampire Diaries" to pursue a career in movies. However, she did not have any closure with Ian Somerhalder's character on screen, as Damon and Elena respectively.
