'Pokemon Go' Update: Confirmed! Apple Watch Version Coming; New Update Fixes Nearby Feature Bug

The "Pokemon GO" app cancellation on the Apple Watch e-mail has reportedly been debunked by Niantic. Apparently, the hoax e-mail is not true as the developers are still releasing the "Pokemon GO" app on the wearable device soon. Moreover, Niantic has also launched a new update to fix a vibrating game without Pokemon nearby.

Niantic Denies Rumors Of Cancelled "Pokemon GO" On Apple Watch

The developers reportedly went to Twitter to announce that the "Pokemon GO" will be coming to the wearable soon. However, Niantic is yet to reveal the exact release date for the app on the Apple watch. It should be noted that Pokemon Go was set to arrive on the Apple Watch before the year ends.

Previously, a Reddit user posted an e-mail allegedly coming from a Niantic Employee named luke. Apparently, the e-mail was noted as a response to a query about the "Pokemon GO" version on the Apple Watch. The e-mail reportedly revealed that the Pokemon GO app presented at the Apple Keynote event was only an unfinished version.

Moreover, the employee also claimed that Niantic decided to stop development of the "Pokemon GO" app on the wearable. Apparently, lack of demand was pointed as the cause of delay. In the meantime, several new characters have also been introduced to the game as well as a holiday-themed Pikachu, according to report.

"Pokemon GO" Update Fix Incorrect Vibration Notifications Bugs Of Unlocked Nearby Feature

In other news, "Pokemon GO" update 1.21.0 reportedly came with a bug fix to only vibrate when Pokemon are actually nearby. Moreover, the update also reportedly changes the day and night mode to accurately reflect the Trainer's current time of the day. In addition, a new code has reportedly been seen in the update related to avatar customization, Heavy.com reported.

"Pokemon GO" players may soon have the ability to change gloves and socks. Moreover, dataminers have reportedly discovered Pokemon genders and shiny Pokemon in the codes. A more festive Pikachu is slated to be available on Dec. 29, 2016. Watch more about the Pokemon GO for Apple Watch here:
