The new Nintendo console “Switch” got its official reveal and with that, a series of news were shared considering the product. The catalogue of the console has been extended, now it includes one of the most influential names in fighting games.
Game Rant reports that Nintendo’s new console “Switch” has received a new title added to its catalogue of games, that is an improved version of “Street Fighter 2”.The announcement of a fighting title was expected, since the leakage of news, about Hori developing a fight stick for the console.
Knowing the intense nature of “Street Fighter 2” it is normal that peripheral hardware has to be created for the full utilization of the console and the game’s properties. It is also expected that local multiplayer will play large role in the game, as it presents one of the main ideas behind the console’s creation.
Additional information on “Ultra Street Fighter 2” has been released by Game Spot. This will be a rework of the well familiar “Street Fighter 2”. It will include some bonus goodies, among which are fully redrawn graphics. The players will be able to choose between playing on classic pixelated graphic or the redrawn HD artwork. Another bonus to the game are two characters “Evil Ryu” and “Violent Ken”. “Evil Ryu” is a re-imagining of the character, where he has fallen in temptation by the Satsui no Hado.
Now he bathes in ultimate power and thirsts for the blood of anyone he deems a worthy rival. “Violent Ken” is a product of Bison’s experiments. Bison kidnaps and tortures Ken, breaking his mind and turning his brotherly rivalry with Ryu into full blown hatred.
Game Zone reports that “Ultra Street Fighter 2” will allow players on the “Switch” console to play together against a CPU adversary, These battles will highly resemble the “Dramatic Battle” mode from “Street Fighter 3 Alpha”. Be ready to have a friend and challenge the powerful bosses in a direct 2v1 battle. “Nintendo Swtich” will be released in March, 2017.
