‘Mass Effect: Andromeda’ Multiplayer Mode; To Impact Single Player Campaign Says Gamble

Following the popularity of Mass Effect 3's multiplayer component, BioWare brings multiplayer into "Mass Effect: Andromeda". The multiplayer mode will impact the story campaign of the single player version. There's only 2 months left until the game's scheduled release but BioWare has remained discreet about game details. Luckily, series producer Mike Gamble spills some interesting tidbits of information.

Gamble tells Kotaku Australia that the multiplayer function for "Mass Effect: Andromeda" will be different with how it works in "Mass Effect 3". The game maker said that the multiplayer feature will be closely associated with the campaign and will impact the game's story directly. Gamble adds that players will be able to access Andromeda's multiplayer mode while using the single player campaign making the feature feel as if a natural extension instead of a mere additional story feature.

The multiplayer mission coined Strike Team shall be built around the planet Helios, the story of which fits into the larger narrative. Meanwhile, players who prefer solo experiences need not worry. Gamble confirmed that the multiplayer story content can also be accessed via the single player campaign too.

At the moment, a lot of questions remain unanswered about "Mass Effect: Andromeda" and its multiplayer feature. What's certain is that the game will come with a micro transaction system feature which is similar to EA's sports games. Presumably, the game's micro transaction system shall be on display in the feature but the exact timing remains uncertain at this point.

"Mass Effect: Andromeda" is set for release in March 21 this year. And following Gamble's hints, gamers are now on the watch for update son the game's multiplayer feature. Game Rant reports that BioWare has made no official confirmation as to the multiplayer features release. Gamers believe that they might have to wait until February when BioWare initially scheduled the reveal of the game's minimum PC requirements and other aspects.
