"Square Enix" is kicking off with Earth's Mightiest Hero in The Avengers Project when they announced that they are teaming with Marvel. Square Enix is the company behind Tomb Raider, Final Fantasy and Hitman. As Square Enix announced the Avengers project, along with these is a new multi-year and multi-game licensing agreement with Marvel.

According to GameSpot, the game will be developed by Crystal Dynamics who made the award-wining Tomb Raider and Eidos Montreal who made Deus Ex, entitled The Avengers Reassemble. By working with two talented and respected game development studios Marvel stories will be brought to life in ways that the fans never experienced yet.

The Avengers Reassemble trailer makes it seem like this is set in a world where the Avengers are either defeated or dead. There's a glimpse of paraphernalia from Thor, Iron Man, Captain America and Hulk requiring a new age of heroes to step up or for those heroes too. As the trailer hints, reassemble to face whatever mighty threat laid them low.

According to Express, this project will sure thrill the longtime fans of the franchise for it will be packed with characters, environments, and iconic moments they used to love. The game features the original story completely and it will introduce a universe gamers who can play in for years to come.

Marvel is making games a key part of the landscape for its story-telling, comics, television and film. And one of the perfect examples of these is The Avengers project. But, they can only get it done with the help of the creative minds at Square Enix, who is known to be world's top developers to be matched with their greatest superheroes.

Imaginative experiences like never before allowing gamers to live out their superhero dream is what this collaboration of passion and talent can be brought to us. Marvel is for sure going to create a big-ticket line of new video games as they confirmed their partnership to Square Enix.
