'Ni No Kuni II: Revnant Kingdom' New Gameplay Video Teases Fans Of Mysterious World; Update Exclusive For PS4, PC

"Ni No Kuni II: Revnanat Kingdom" had teasers from Bandai Namco, its game publisher, developed by Level-5. Just like its first game, it will only be available for the PlayStation 4 and Windows PC upon its release this year.

"Ni No Kuni II: Revnanat Kingdom" Reportedly Focuses On Evan, Young Prince Of Ding Dong Dell

The gameplay video was only less than two minutes long but was able to feature Evan, the young prince of Ding Dong Dell, the protagonist, as well as several of his companions traversing the Kingmaker' Mound towards the Cloudcoil Canyon. Along the way, there is a short battle scene against the tiny Higgledies before a major fight against Thogg, the boss of the canyon, reports Gamespot.

Akihiro Hino, the developer studio's chief executive,  confirmed last month that "Ni No Kuni II: Revnanat Kingdom" will be released again for the PC.  The studio is targeting a wider audience for their upcoming game, and creating a Windows version will give them a better reach in other countries.

Hino added, "As a fan of Western RPGs, I think our games need to be offering a similarly great experience, utilizing things like an open world, and a stress-free battle system. It should feel familiar for all gamers."

"Ni No Kuni" Game Fans Expect Goodness Of Previous Game Continues, Get Even Better

"Ni No Kuni II: Revnanat Kingdom" will have an open-world mechanics that was first introduced back in 2011 during the release of the "Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch."  Players will have many towns and dungeons to explore, which also means that there will be a lot of NPC (non-playable character) conversation and many foes to defeat. Fans are looking towards the enhanced battle system, which the previous game already contains an impressive one, according to Trusted Review.

Additionally, the new game that is starting out in the second game of the series will not feel left out because of the continuity of the story.  The studio is already away of the possible problem but prevented it by creating a new world along with its new characters.  The new game will be more approachable to new players.

"Ni No Kuni II: Revnanat Kingdom" does not have a release date yet, but is expected to be made available this year. Watch "Ni No Kuni II" | Gameplay Trailer | PS4
