‘Battlefield 1’ Four Expansion Packs: Everything You Need to Know

DICE and EA have finally released details about the four new expansion update for “Battlefield 1”. The expansion packs will come separately or players can't opt for the Premium Pass for $50. The first expansion is titled “They Shall Not Pass”, followed by “Name of the Tsar”, “Turning Tides” and lastly the “Apocalypse”.

The first update “They Shall Not Pass” will give players to experience World War 1 as they fight across four different French maps and battle using the Char 2C tank. Many videos and details have already been revealed about this expansion pack which is one of the reasons why players just can’t wait to get their hands on it.

Next is the “Name of the Tsar” which will give players a chance to battle using the Russian army and have legendary Hussars as rides. This expansion pack takes place in the monumental Brusilov offensive and assault in Albion. The third one is the “Turning Tides” which is focused on naval battles. Players will use coastal class airships and new destroyer to raid Zeebrugge and Gallipoli beaches.

Last but not the least is the “Apocalypse” which IGN reports to feature the infamous fight of WW1. It will include the most brutal and unique weapons invented out of desperation which will give players a first-hand experience in using it.

The good news is Premium Pass holders get to receive all four expansion packs two weeks earlier from its official release. In addition, it will also give players priority server access and numerous high-level battle packs in the game. This would be a great choice for players planning to get all expansion packs as it will not only cheaper but comes with many priority access and rewards too.

There has been no official release date yet for the first expansion pack but Gamespot reports it should be anytime this March.
