Titanfall News: Fans Develop Damage Chart for Weapons, Sequel Rights Secured by EA, Expected to be a Multi-Platform Release [RUMOR]

EA Rumored to Have Titanfall 2 in the Works, Players Strategize on Best Weapons to Take Out Titans

While some Titanfall players are obviously quite skilled at the game, not everyone has the same the same amount of expertise.

To help players strategize, one Titanfall gamer going by Dissentia began a simple list of Pilot weapons and the their respective stats, to show which weapons would be the most effective against the titular mechs in a David vs. Goliath type scenario. It's since morphed into a rather impressive chart (seen below) showing everything from reload time and magazine size to the amount of damage it can inflict on each class of titan.

While the players are content to strategize, EA is thinking ahead to the next game. According to GameSpot, the publisher has already secured sequel rights for Respawn's shooter sequel. According to the site's source, "the option to land Titanfall 2 was based on the performance of the original."

Official sales stats haven't been revealed yet, but it's been reported that the game (and console bundles) have increased sales to almost double for the Xbox One, all thanks to the multiplayer mech blaster.

Based on previous statements from EA, like CFO Blake Jorgensen, who said that a potential Titanfall sequel could come to PlayStation and/or Nintendo platforms, it's thought that the next game will me a multi-platform release.

However, nothing has been confirmed. An EA spokesman recently stated, "We do not comment on rumor or speculation. Right now all our focus is on supporting all the fans worldwide enjoying Titanfall."
