The PS4 "God of War" is reportedly one of the most anticipated games for Sony's platform. Information about the game has been very scarce ever since it was publicly revealed. It seems that Santa Monica Studio and Sony have successfully kept relevant information under wraps for a while now. However, Kratos' voice actor has apparently shared the game's release date through his profile page on Twitter.

Last year, Christopher Judge confirmed that he will voice the role of Kratos in the upcoming "God of War" game for the PS4. The voice actor took over the voiceover work from Terrence Carson who acted as the voice of the Ghost of Sparta's in previous installments of the game, says Game Rant. According to Judge's Twitter profile, the game is scheduled to come out sometime in 2018. Sony and Santa Monica Studio have not confirmed any of the information as of now.

The game's director, Corey Barlog, continues to withhold information about the new "God of War" from fans. According to reports, a fan asked him about the game's estimated release period, Barlog said, "it will be done when it is done." The reveal is expected to disappoint a lot of fans that anticipated the game to come out this year. On the other hand, Barlog's reply seems to indicate that the developers will push out a great product when the game comes out next year.

Meanwhile, another rumor about the release date for "God of War" has also spread last week. According to a retailer called Gaming Replay, the action game is scheduled to launch this year. The retailer reportedly listed the game to come out on Sept. 14, 2017, says PlayStation Universe.

Other speculations about the new "God of War" also hint at a multiplayer feature for the game's story mode. Fans would have to wait for official news about the game during Sony's E3 2017 press conference. Sony might just reveal more information about the latest installment as well as the official release date.
