Samsung Plans Early Release Of Note 8 In The US
Samsung is prepping up for the launch of the upcoming Galaxy Note 8, the follow-up to the disastrous Galaxy Note 7. The Note 7 was recalled and discontinued after models started catching fire. In a recent news, consumers are thrilled for the Note 8. Samsung is set to take the wraps off the phablet on Aug. 23 in New York.
Samsung Galaxy Note 8: Arriving Aug. 24?
According to Phonarena, a Reddit user hinted that Samsung may begin selling the Note 8 a day after it launches which mean fans of the phablet could have it in their pockets on Aug. 24. The release date rumor is recently backed up by a Best Buy Mobile employee and confirmed through both Verizon and Samsung channels. This could be bad news for Apple's iPhone 8 which is not expected to be unveiled until early September. With a new Galaxy Note 8 already in stores, smartphone fans could be tempted to upgrade long before Apple's new iPhone is even launched.
Samsung Galaxy Note 8: Possible Design, Specs, And Features
Samsung has created some hugely impressive styluses over recent years, and we expect the Note 8's to be just as good, if not better. Alongside with the stylus, the phablet will likely feature a number of productivity-focused software features, designed to help users get things done. It also said to be water- and dust-resistant, with an IP68 rating. It is also expected that the next Galaxy Note series will be powered by Qualcomm's latest and most powerful mobile system-on-a-chip, the Snapdragon 835. The Galaxy Note 8 is also said to feature a dual-camera setup, combining two rear-facing 12-megapixel camera sensors. It is also anticipated to use a - hopefully safe - 3,300mAh battery, which users will be able to charge either wirelessly or via a USB-C port.
Furthermore, as per Trusted Reviews, the Galaxy Note 8 will launch at an event on Aug. 23 at the Galaxy unpacked event, a few weeks ahead of the new iPhone's expected unveiling. The Galaxy Note 8 is said to be available in black, blue, gray and gold color variants.
