According to a PlayStation Blog post authored by Mojang's Owen Hil, the new update is now live on PlayStation 3 versions of Minecraft.
Hill notes that the update "brings Emeralds, Ender Chests, Zombie Villagers, and more," so while it's not explicitly stated, I'd assume the patch notes that came with the same update for the Xbox 360 versions are the same. You can read 'em below:

Alongside the varying additions, Hill also mentions that the game has received two exclusive skin packs. The first offers a bevy of character costumes from PlayStation only games, like Uncharted's Nathan Drake, Sly Cooper, Heavy Rain, and Killzone.
