Along with the surviving throughout the night within the Pizzaplex, players in Five Knights at Freddy's: Security Breach will also need to upgrade Freddy Fazbear, an animatronic mascot, and the titular antagonist from its previous games, that is assisting Gregory in the game.

But in order to do this, they need to collect the items needed by defeating other animatronic mascots in several of the game's boss fights.

Where to Get the Upgrades

In order to get the parts to upgrade Freddy, they need first to get the Fazerblaster, which is in the Fazer Blast laser tag arena.

They can access the said arena if they have a Photo Pass, however according to Gamepretty, there is an alternative way to get the said weapon.

To do this, they will need to use the stairs to the right of a robot guarding the elevator in the entrance. Once they get to the stairs, they will climb on the left side of its railing, then they will jump towards the overhang of the restaurant.

They will know if they land on the right spot if the floor is not entirely solid, making them feel like they are shorter.

Afterwards, they will try to jump on the top of the elevator, until they will fall down into an unloaded area, where they will get the weapon once it loads.

Once they got the weapon, according to Outsider Gaming, they will need to head towards the Fazer Blast office, which is at the right of the lobby.

From there, they will grab the message bag, and the security badge upgrade, in the bathroom to the left, then they will head towards the door on the right.

Then, they will grab the gift box in order to have the Bowling Ticket, which they can use to access the Bonnie Bowl, which is at the third floor. Once they are in the area, they will present the ticket to a bot, and enter the elevator.

After riding the elevator, they will head towards the ice cream parlor in the back by going through the first doors, then they will head to the left, then they will go all the way around to the other set of doors.

Then, they will grab the message bag to the left and the gift box, which has the Monty Mystery Mix.

Then, they will leave the Bonnie Bowl, then head down towards the first floor to look for the red door between the pizza and ice cream stands. They will enter the said door, then take an elevator with the large doors.

Once they exit from the elevator, they will head towards the opposite direction and go out through the doors to head towards the pizza kitchen. Then, they will go to an area that has a trash compactor.

From there, they will plant the Monty Mystery Mix, then they will turn around and find the dangling button that activate the compactor.

Afterwards, they need to make distractions for Chica that is guarding the area using the plates that are scattered. Once she is distracted, they will enter inside Freddy to hide. They can also zap Chica with the Fazerblaster is she has spotted them.

They need to do this until Chika is in the right spot, then make their way back to the opposite end of the kitchen, then they push the switch, which will trigger a cutscene where Chica is eating the mystery mix.

As she is eating, Gregory will sneak around her, and trying to push her into the compactor. Once she is crushed, they will approach her head to obtain the Voicebox.

Next, they will face Montgomery Gator to obtain the second upgrade. To do this, according to FusionZGamer's YouTube video, they must go towards the maze puzzle in the Mazercise area, and they will flip several switches until an opened vent was seen.

Once they exit the vent, they will notice that are in the Monty's Gator Golf area, and they see a ball launcher that is in the platform. They must communicate with the said launcher, which will trigger another boss fight against the mascot.

To beat him, they need to use the ball launchers in the area to shoot towards targets, which will fill in a gauge.

Once the said gauge is fully filled, they will run towards the button, where a bucket full of balls will try to crush Gator, causing him to fall down to his demise. Afterwards, they will approach so that they will collect Freddy's second upgrade.

Finally, for the third upgrade, according to Gameranx, they need to defeat Roxanne Wolf in the Roxy's Raceway.

To do this, they need to enter the door under the Sodaroni sign, then they will go towards the right, and head past the security bot. Then, they will go past the crates, then go left towards the Roxy Raceway entrance.

From there, they will take another right into a construction area until they find a go-kart, which Freddy will instruct them to construct a bot to assist them. Once they have constructed the assist bot, they will send it to smash Roxy up in order to get her eyes.

However, this boss fight is not over as they will face her for the second time, now completely blind. To avoid her in an underground room, they will need to stand in front of a wooden barricade, then they will make noise to make her charge towards them.

As they saw her charge, they will move to the side, and let him smash through the said barricade. Then, they will run towards the opposite side of the next room, then they will unscrew a vent cover to escape.

How to Upgrade Freddy

Once they got the parts, according to Gamepur, they will be lowered themselves towards the sublevels of the Pizzaplex along with Freddy, which will be kidnapped by Moondrop.

Then, they will need to survive the hallways filled with endoskeletons to get the access to the area where Freddy is. Once they gain access, they will see Vanessa had Freddy trapped in a cylindrical room, with his head being removed.

Once Vanessa leaves the room with the head, the mascot will instruct them to access the compute on the nearby table. They will access it, then they choose the parts that they will upgrade. From there, they will use the said parts to upgrade Freddy.
