'Sifu' Game Guide: How to Avoid Opponent's Low and High Attacks and Beat Them

'Sifu' Game Guide: How to Avoid Opponent's Low and High Attacks and Beat Them

"Sifu" is the latest martial arts game that fans will enjoy, especially those who grew up with Jackie Chan, Donnie Yen, or Jet Li. The kung-fu action game is now available on several platforms, including PC, PS4, and PS5.

For those who want to get started with this game, you might first like to learn the art of dodging. Dodging is avoiding all enemy attacks at all costs. This technique is very helpful to minimize the damage that you receive from the attackers.

Like other street-fighting games, "Sifu" features a parry wherein you can crawl over and clear your enemies with no sweat, not to mention the game's intuitive blocking system.

With that, let's get straight away to the main guide: how to dodge both high and low attacks coming from your attackers.

Here's how to perfectly avoid enemy attacks on the newest kung-fu game "Sifu."

Since you're only a beginner to "Sifu," you will immediately learn how to dodge attacks with ease during the quick tutorial. However, these actions are not given enough explanation during the process.

According to a report by Attack of the Fanboy, you will know if the opponent will punch or kick you if you see a "glowing limb." If the attacker approaches you in high mode, you need to tap and hold the block button by clicking L1 if you are using PS4 or PS5. In addition, make sure you will tilt down your control stick, as well.

Tilting the control stick will allow your player to go on ducking position. You can also maneuver your player to shift to the side and attack an enemy.

Meanwhile, if you notice that your enemy is dropping down low on the ground, pay attention to their low strike. If you feel that they will attack you at that stance, do the same thing above. However, the only difference here is you need to tilt up your control stick.

In doing so, your player will leap to the air, thus making your enemies miss their attacks. This will now allow you to land strikes to the open spot of their bodies.

Not all the time, you can encounter an enemy who knows a single kind of attack. Others can execute a lot of attacks in different forms. This appears to be a combo in transition, and all you need to do is break this single chain.

To sum it up, just master the duck and weave technique so you can beat all your enemies without any difficulty. "Sifu" is a hardcore kungfu adventure game, so you need to adapt to enemies' playstyle when the time comes.

A good parry can turn the tides of the battle, especially if you are sandwiched between hard attacks. Avoiding all the punches and kicks is tough to master, but it's all worth it in the end.
