Twitch Streamer Nickmercs Ditches ‘Call of Duty: Warzone’ for ‘Apex Legends’ While Live

Twitch streamer and YouTuber Nicholas "Nickmercs" Kolcheff went unfiltered when he raged in the middle of a "Call of Duty: Warzone" game while playing with his fellow streamersh. He then returned instead to playing "Apex Legends."

In an article by Sportskeeda, Nickmercs was visibly upset amid the shooter game then a faulty revival performance of his teammates seemed to have upset him even further. He went on to rage quit out of the ongoing match.

Moments after getting back into the game, a sudden death experience led to his quick but outrageous exit from the battle royale.

The co-owner of the FaZe clan looked to exclude Call of Duty Warzone within his rage limits as Fortnite: Battle Royale and Apex Legends hinted its obvious soft spot on Nickmercs' gaming preference.

His thousands and thousands of followers at the exact moment of the rage cannot but react and relate with the COD: Warzone encounter as the game apparently is not for everybody's comforting past-time activity.

Nickmercs' Professional Gaming Background

Though his perhaps haphazard showing in that specific game seemed to be unbecoming of his experience in esports, Nickmercs has already established his name at par with those professional gamers.

Epic Games' third-person shooter game "Gears of Wars" was the foundation of Nickmercs' career as he copped professional experience by playing the game.

His career then shifted to content creating. This is when he ventured to other games such as "Call of Duty" and survival horror game "Outlast."

In 2018, Nickmercs joined American lifestyle brand and gaming organization 100 Thieves prior to being part of the FaZe Clan. The ultimate reason he eventually part ways with 100 Thieves was disclosed as failed promises and poor management. 

In 2020, Nickmercs' won the 10th Streamy Awards in the category of Live Streamers. He received nomations during the Game Awards 2020 and the 11th Shorty Awards.

Nickmercs was once a world record holder for the most kills in "Fortnite." His record was 54 kills. He was eventually dethroned after another player broke the record with 59 kills. 

The 31-year-old gamer is known for his hyper-aggressive playstyle, virtuoso movement, and great power during games and matches. 

Nickmercs' Content Creating

Nickmercs' streaming platform has ranked 47th when it comes to the highest recorded concurrent viewers of over 370 000. 

Similarly, Nickmercs ranked 47th with his total views of over 215 million views - a serious audience he built in that streaming site of his. He also had an over 15 million following in Twitch, amassing 15,000 live audience daily.

Four of his most streamed games include different titles under the "Call of Duty" franchise, include "Warzone Season Two," "Modern Warfare," "Ghosts," "and "WWII." Included are streams for games such as "Fortnite" and "Apex Legends."
