Xbox Announces 6-Hour Stream in Gamescom Return

Xbox returns to Gamescom with some surprises and a 6-hour livestream.

A report from GameSpot tells us that Xbox will be making its return to Gamescom this year after a two-year break from the German gaming convention which were canceled in 2020 and 2022 and hosted a digital event for 2021. Xbox looks fresh coming into Gamescom with a lot of games to show and a 6-hour live stream for its fans worldwide.

The Xbox Booth at Gamescom to be held in Cologne Germany has already announced the schedule for its event live stream. The six-hour event will be taking place on Thursday, August 25 from 5 am to 11 am in Pacific Time, 8 am to 2 pm in Eastern Time, and 1 pm to 7 pm in the UK.

The hit console is looking forward to being back on the show floor to excite its fans with its future game and console releases. The stream will include a few third-party partners who will watch the development of games from those studios before their individual launches.

Where Can We Watch the Xbox Gamescom Livestream?

The event will be cast via livestreams on Microsoft and Xbox's social media platforms. Fans can be visit their YouTube, Twitch, or Facebook pages in the said schedules.

According to Xbox, they will be providing more insights about the games they previously announced to be released in the coming months. With the return of Xbox to Gamescom, Xbox Fanfest will also be back on the show floor for all the passionate Xbox fans participating in the event.

The Xbox Gamescom Promises a Fun Experience for Fans

Fans who will be participating in the Xbox Gamescom in person can have their chance to go hands-on with some of the latest games and updates from the Xbox Games Studios. Live booth goers are lucky to try and experience the following games:

As part of Xbox's aim to enable everyone to play the games they want, visitors to the booth will also be able to try out the new Xbox App on the newest 2022 Samsung Smart TV. Attendees will get the chance to become video game heroes with some incredible photo shoot opportunities, in addition to getting a hands-on experience with the newest games.

Xbox also confirmed that Broodmother, the first boss from Grounded which is a really massive spider will also be at the event grounds. Also rolled out were pirate activities like walking the plank with Sea of Thieves. Take your chance to meet and fight Piglins from Minecraft Legends and join the battlefield with Age of Empires IV. The fun activities at the Xbox Gamescom seem to never end.
