Developer Hexworks is now back in full force after the Holiday break. In fact, the company released a hefty patch for Lords of the Fallen to start the new year. Update v1.1.430 is chock full of improvements and bug fixes. Read further to learn more.

Improvements

Let's start with the improvements. Update v1.1.430 has added a nifty virtual keyboard for Steam Deck users so that they have a much easier time interacting with other people in multiplayer.

The company has also made further optimizations to enemy movement by disabling certain actions that are irrelevant in some situations. This may result in a smoother gameplay experience because enemies are less likely to do something out of the ordinary from now on.

What Got Fixed?

Update v1.1.430 brought a myriad of bug fixes to Lords of the Fallen as well. Players who ran it all back by starting a New Game+ campaign may have encountered an issue where the Bringer of Stillness, Bringer of Nullity, and Bringer of Silence all appeared with low health right off the bat. Thankfully, the bug responsible for this one has now been squashed.

In addition, there was an exploit that allowed players to skip a huge portion of the Revelation Depths. This, of course, is not intended, which is why the company has resolved this in the latest patch. So, what was done to address this? Well, Hexworks added a death-zone trigger that now prevents players from going under the wooden bridge in Revelation Depths.

For multiplayer, the annoying issue that would cause a connecting player to get stuck in the loading screen if the host made adjustments to the settings while a connection was established has now been fixed.
