The update focuses on improving the game's performance by enhancing how vegetation, such as trees and bushes, interacts with vehicles. This aims to create a smoother and more immersive gaming experience. The development team is dedicated to refining gameplay mechanics, particularly in firearms and gunplay.
They've optimized firearm particles to improve overall gameplay smoothness. Additionally, there is a slight increase in recoil for specific automatic firearms, aiming to add realism and intensity to combat encounters.
Refinements to Weapon Behavior and Close-Quarter Combat
DayZ enthusiasts will be pleased to learn that the 1.24 Experimental Update brings improvements to weapon lifting behavior and the calculation of weapon lengths. These adjustments are designed to alleviate frustrations in close-quarter combat scenarios with firearms, offering a more intuitive and responsive gameplay feel.
