Titanfall's First DLC, Expedition, Announced at Respawn's PAX East Panel; Release Date in May

Ready For Some New Titanfall Maps? You'll Only Have to Wait Until May For the Expedition DLC

Getting tired of Angel City, Boneyard and Fracture in Titanfall?

Well, you're in luck, because Respawn has announced the first DLC for its blockbuster shooter, called Expedition. The DLC will feature three new maps, Runoff, Swamplands and Wargames.

Swamplands and Runoff will both take place in (you guessed it!) swampy, wet areas. With trees and stuff replacing the usual city walls it should be interesting to see how the parkour element changes. Wargames is going to take place in the titan training facility, which is honestly the most exciting sounding map to me. It'll obviously have to be a tad bigger to work for 6v6, but with the high walls around the outside and small structures inside it always seemed like a perfect multiplayer arena to me.

Another big addition to Titanfall, and not necessarily just in the DLC, is titan customization. Users will finally be able to swag up their titans with different decals. There will also be a new 2v2 Last Titan Standing mode coming in a future update. Respawn also announced a "hashtag" system, which will be a new way to get players with similar interests together. They didn't make it overly clear exactly how that's going to work.

The DLC is slated to come out on an undisclosed date in May, but I'd imagine more details will emerge soon enough. It's going to cost you $9.99 for each DLC individually, but the season pass for Titanfall is $24.99 for all three future map packs.
