Where to Find Thrumbo

Thrumbo, the elusive undead servant, lurks not far from the mansion. Descend the stairs east of the manor to reach the beach, and on the far end, discover Thrumbo hiding inside a wardrobe. Players face a choice - assist Thrumbo or confront him, engaging in a four-on-one fight. If opting for the latter, victory rewards you with the Torch of Revocation, concluding the quest.

Helping Thrumbo: End Mystic Carrion's Immortality

Choosing to aid Thrumbo unlocks a deeper narrative. Thrumbo sends players on a mission to unveil the secret behind Mystic Carrion's immortality. To infiltrate Carrion's basement lair, head upstairs in the mansion, pick the lock, and navigate the second floor, evading patrolling creatures. Activate a stone panel to reveal a ladder leading to a hidden room. Descend, read the book on the table, and head to the sewers.

In the sewers, reach Mystic Carrion's ancient lair in the northwest corner. Battle undead, discover a hidden room with a book titled "Funerary Jar Form and Function," revealing the secret of Carrion's immortality. Return to Thrumbo, destroy Carrion's heart in the jar, and complete the subquest "End Mystic Carrion's Immortality."

Finishing off Mystic Carrion

Returning to Philgrave's Mansion triggers an intense battle with Mystic Carrion and his minions. Employing your strongest abilities, defeat them to free Thrumbo and his undead allies. Hold onto the Torch of Revocation, either looted from Carrion's body or found behind his desk, as it becomes essential in the side quest "Free the Artist," aiding Oskar. With Carrion defeated, Thrumbo and his companions can finally embrace their second lives.
