Before the Battle
To start your journey for Blaidd's Armor, you first need to take on Ranni's quest. Before facing Blaidd, make sure you do these key tasks:
- Defeat Darriwil: Blaidd will help you fight Darriwil at the Forlorn Hound Evergaol. This earns you a useful item, the Sombre Smithing Stone (2).
- Beat Starscourge Radahn: Join Blaidd and other NPCs to take on Starscourge Radahn during the Radahn festival. Even though Blaidd might not survive, his help is crucial.
Finding Blaidd's Armor Set
Blaidd's set consists of four parts: Blaidd's Armor, Gauntlets, Greaves, and the Black Wolf Mask. Here's where to find each piece:
- Black Wolf Mask: Start by climbing the ruins of Seluvis's Rise to find the Black Wolf Mask on a corpse. It's a bit of a climb, but worth it.
- Gauntlets, and Greaves: Once you have the Dark Moon Ring, return to Ranni's Rise and confront Blaidd near the tower. Fight him as a tough mini-boss, using the terrain to your advantage. If you win, you'll get Blaidd's Armor, Gauntlets, and Greaves, plus his Royal Greatsword.
