One of these is the Unforgettable Soup Achievement which is exclusive to the latest patch and can only be unlocked during one specific annual festival. This is what makes this particular achievement a bit of a hassle.

This guide will help you complete the Unforgettable Soup Achievement so you can work on the other hidden trophies in the game. The first thing to know is that this achievement can only be unlocked during the Luau Festival.
In order to earn this trophy, players will have to impress the Governor, who is visiting Pelican Town Beach every summer so that he can try out the communal soup potluck. To do this, players will have to choose the best ingredient for the soup to ensure that the Governor gives them a passing mark, according to GameRant.
The chosen ingredient will be used to enhance the flavor of the potluck and if it becomes of the highest possible quality, he will say, "Oh my... That's the best soup I've ever tasted." The ingredients must meet the criteria for delighting the Governor, including quality, price, and effect.
One of the best ways to complete the Unforgettable Soup Achievement is to use an Iridium-quality edible that has a high selling price and a powerful healing effect. This will make sure that the soup will be delightful for everyone, including the Governor.

Some of the options that can be used to impress the Governor include Beer, Purple Mushroom, Red Cabbage, and Melon. Providing a high-quality version of these items will let you make the best possible soup, said Destructoid.
On top of unlocking the Unforgettable Soup Achievement, the Luau Festival also lets players increase their Friendship with the town's residents. The event itself takes place between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Furthermore, players cannot enter the beach until the festival starts.

All of Pelican Town's residents will be in attendance at the Luau Festival except for Krobys, the Dwarf, the Wizard, and Sandy. This means that Friendship for these particular characters will not be affected during the event.
At the beach, Pierre has also set up a stall where he sells seasonal decorative items and players can also buy one Starfruit. This can be used in a Seed Maker to plant Starfruits even if they have not yet unlocked the Calico Desert, where they are sold at the Oasis.
Regarding the potluck, players will want to get the Best Response from the Governor to get the Unforgettable Soup Achievement. On top of the previously mentioned products, players can also use silver-quality Wien made from Ancient Fruit, Apple, Coconut, Crystal Fruit, Mango, Melon, Orange, Peach, Pineapple, Pomegranate, Rhubarb, Starfruit, and Strawberry.
There is also a Secret Response that can be viewed during the Luau Festival, where players will have to add Mayor Lewis' Lucky Purple Shorts to the soup. He will call you out for doing this but you will neither gain nor lose any Friendship with the townsfolk, according to IGN.
