The Zone is an area of exclusion around the notorious Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant that is filled with radiation, mutants, and anomalies. The area keeps attracting adventures from beyond the perimeter.

There are several bounty hunters who dive deep into The Zone and are driven by the area's treasures and mysteries. There are also the people who are known as stalkers and players can become of them if they wish.

The game is set to launch for Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG. It will also be available on Xbox Game Pass on Sept. 5, 2024, according to VGChartz.

STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl is developed by GSC Game World using Epic's Unreal Engine 5 and the latest trailer features a Ukrainian voiceover. The sequel to the popular game can be pre0=-ordered on the official website and other platforms.

The developer has also released the system requirements for the game but these could possibly change in the future as the game is further developed. For minimum specs, an AMD Ryzen 5 1600X / Intel Core i5-7600K is preferred with 8GB RAM and AMD Radeon RX 580 8GB / NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB.

On the other hand, the recommended specs are AMD Ryzen 3700X / Intel Core i7-9700K with 16GB RAM. For graphics, AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT 8GB / NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER 8GB / NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti 11GB, said WCCFTech.

New Entry Into the Franchise

The sequel's main setting is the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant and the game features upgraded graphics and enhances the foundation that was laid down by previous entries in the franchise.

STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl is a survival FPS title that has undergone a difficult development cycle. GSC Game World had previously relocated due to the Russia-Ukraine War but the company still continued development of the game.

The Not a Paradise trailer was first revealed during a Bilibili showcase stream and brings back an old friend and puts the improved environment in the spotlight. The latest footage is the first trailer that features a Ukrainian voiceover, which increases the immersion for viewers.

The locations featured in STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl include a parking structure with a faded mural, a Ferris wheel in Prypiat, and a mutated creature that is running through a ruined building.

The Not a Paradise trailer also shows one enemy that moves seamlessly across the screen and incites fear regardless of whether viewers are able to see its fine details. The appearance of Richter also fits perfectly with the game's expansive views.

Many players are expecting STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl to be one of the biggest horror game releases of the year, according to GameRant.
