Fusing the Best of Two Worlds

Shin expressed the studio's commitment to crafting a game that resonates with fans of both LET IT DIE and Deathverse. Contrary to concerns about a diluted experience, Shin emphasized that the remake will not compromise on quality or depth. Drawing inspiration from the gameplay loops of LET IT DIE and the player-versus-player focus of Deathverse, the team seeks to create a roguelike exploration game with elements of co-op and PvP combat.

Shin mentioned, "They're blending the enjoyable parts of both games to create something new." While the project retains the action-packed essence of LET IT DIE, it also incorporates refinements inspired by Deathverse, resulting in a fresh and captivating gameplay experience.

A Blend of Atmospheres and Gameplay

Despite the significant influence of LET IT DIE, Shin noted that Deathverse's distinct atmosphere will leave its mark on the remake. The game's darker tone, reminiscent of its predecessors, sets it apart from previous works by Supertrick Games. However, Shin assured fans that the remake introduces subtle yet significant differences, hinting at an evolution in gameplay and atmosphere.

As for the proportion of LET IT DIE versus Deathverse in the remake, Shin hinted at a ratio favoring LET IT DIE, albeit with notable contributions from Deathverse. While the specifics remain under wraps, Shin's remarks suggest a harmonious fusion of elements from both games, promising a revitalized gaming experience for fans old and new alike.
