J.K. Rowling Writes Another Harry Potter Short Story

The official PlayStation synopsis of Powers asks us: "what if you could fly? What if you could punch a meteor out of the atmosphere? What if the world was full of people who could do all those things, and more? What if all that power was just one more excuse for mayhem and murder? And what if you were the cop who had to deal with it all? Welcome to the life of Detective Christian Walker. He's in charge of protecting humans like us and keeping the peace over these God-like men and women who glide through the sky on lightning bolts and fire who clash above the cities in epic battle, oblivious to the mortals below."

Co-creator of the Powers comic Brian Michael on the casting: "Some of you have asked me about the differences in physical appearance between these actors and the way the characters are visually interpreted in the comic book by Powers co-creator Michael Avon Oeming. Well considering nobody on the planet Earth actually looks like a stylized Michael Avon Oeming drawing :) , we focused on the spirit of the characters as opposed to their physical appearances. That's what we were looking for and that, I can tell you, is much harder to find. But we have found it."

Copley and Forbes join Eddie Izzard, Noah Taylor, Olesya Rulin, Max Fowler, Adam Godley and Susan Heyward as Deena Pilgrim. All PlayStation owners will get the first episode for free come December, but only PS Plus users will receive the entire season for zero dollars. Tempting? It is a strong cast!
