Microsoft unveiled a trio of new Nokia Lumia Windows Phones at an IFA press event that focuses on providing higher quality cameras in lower priced smartphones.

Their first announcement was the Lumia 830, a slim and colorful phone that sports a 10-megapixel camera. The phone ships with the Windows Phone 8.1 operating system and supports integrated wireless charging. According to Microsoft, the phone is set to release globally this month for about €330 (which equates to about $429, though there hasn't been an official price in dollars yet).

The other two phones in the line are the Lumia 730 Dual SIM and Lumia 735, which are, according to Micorsoft, "built for Skype and selfies." These phones sport a 5-megapixel, front-facing camera and even come with an offer for a free, three-month Skype Unlimited World subscription. The 735 model also supports wireless charging.

These models will be releasing globally this month as well. The 730 will be priced at €199, and the 735 will cost €219 ($259 and $285, respectively, though neither of these have been confirmed for official dollar prices yet, either).

"Our strategy is to help people do more with stunning products that unite and showcase the best of Microsoft's digital work and life experiences," said Chris Weber, corporate vice president of mobile devices sales at Microsoft, in a release.

Along with the new phones, Microsoft also announced improvements with the Lumia Denim firmware, specifically in how it relates to Lumia Camera functionality. The upgrade allows phones to capture high-quality footage at 24 frames per second and is set to reach the Lumia 830 by the end of this year.
