Fibbage Released For PS4 & PS3, 8-Player Triva Party Game From The Creators Of You Don't Know Jack Finally Hits

Fibbage Hits PS4 And PS3

Released last month to rave reviews on the Xbox One and Amazon Fire TV, Jackbox Games' Fibbage is now available for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 owners.

Six Free Games For PlayStation PS Plus Members This Month

This is the latest game from the developers of the legendary You Don't Know Jack, which is likely the greatest party video game ever created. It's at least the funniest (the latest Facebook iteration is wonderfully implemented) and Fibbage not only continues in this same tradition, it has the same host- the hilarious Cookie Masterson.

Fibbage is a party game and is thus meant for local play. It supports eight players, which seems absurd at first. Who has that many controllers nowadays, especially at $60 a pop? But Jellyvision knows that ease of use is key, and so you'll be able to use any mobile phone or tablet to play. All you need to do is ensure that your device is connected to the internet, and enter a room code on the website to enter the game.

"Fibbage, like all of the games we are working on, is easy-in," said Mike Bilder, GM of Jackbox Games. "You just need a mobile phone or tablet connected to the Internet. We've eliminated what we feel is the major sticking point for party video games - the need for a bunch of controllers and/or an entire set of fake musical instruments."

Fibbage Hit the Xbox One Last Month

Round up the friends and the game itself is pretty simple. You'll get offers true (but insane) facts, with a word or phrase missing. You have to lie and provide an appropriate response that will trick your friends into choosing your selection, all the while trying to figure out what the real selection is.

Don't have enough friends living near you? The game offers play over Twitch- you can jump right into a Fibbage stream and start playing right away.

Fibbage is now available in the PSN store for a mere $6.99 The game is cross-buy, which means that a purchase for PS4 gets you the PS3 version, and vice-versa. Of course, that's usually only most useful for Vita versions, which offers portable versions of your console favorites, but this isn't exactly the kind of game you can play by yourself on the subway.

No, get together your friends, and enjoy lying to them.
