The first gameplay trailer for WWE 2K15 has dropped, and it's looking pretty amazing! Everyone from superstars like Cena and Tripel H to legends like Hogan and divas like the Bellas and AJ Lee are represented.
What's Up With WWE SuperCard's People's Challenge Mode?
Now, amidst all the hype and noise I must admit that the grappling still looks a bit weird - a problem not specifically exclusive to the WWE games, but wrestling in general. Contrast how amazing, say, Triple H's face looks (when can you ever say that, huh?), the details of the motion capture, compared to the sort of flatness of the torsos and the way the physics sort of weirdly bounce off each other. There's a reason many AAA games let characters who interact with things happen subtly off-screen (think Lara Croft rumbling in treasure chests just outside of view).
Exclusive to the next-gen version of WWE 2K15 is Showcase mode, which will allow you to create our very own Superstar or Diva and follow their career throughout a fictional championship. 62 Superstars, Divas and Legends have been revealed already, with more still to come. Most of these will be selections from the NXT line-up.
PS4 And Xbox One WWE 2K15 Delayed A Month... Why?
WWE 2K15 will drop for Xbox 360 and PS3 on October 28 and 31 in North America and Europe, while the PS4 and Xbox One versions are coming on November 18 and 21, respectively.
