Comic fans, since you're all going to be there anyways next week, we're going to fill you in a few exclusive New York Comic Con deals you can find whilst you wend your way through the halls of the Javits Center.

NYCC Is Going To Make A Zombie Out Of You

Head on over to the Midtown Comics booth #2036 and you can pick yourself up the variant cover for the much talked about (as in, they debuted it on The View a few months ago) new female Thor comic.

In case you missed it, writer Jason Aaron and artist Paul Rennaud are reimaginging the Norse hero into the Goddess of Thunder. When Mjolnir lays abandoned on Earth's moon, and not even the Odinson can lift it any more, a mysterious woman comes along and lays claim to the power of Asgards. I don't see what the mystery is, she is obviously Thor.

Stan The Man Will Miss Comic Con This Year

Additionally, Midtown Comics will be debuting four connecting variant covers for the upcoming Death of Wolverine four-part series. Logan's healing factor has gone, so the man who has faced everything will finally stare down the one thing he never has: his end. The comic is written by Charles Soule.

In honor of Wolverine's long, impressive journey, J. Scott Campbell beautifully depicts a different stage of Logan's life in each of his four connecting covers. We get to see past lovers, exotic sceneries, various costumes, and a classic centerpiece connecting it all.

Attendees will also be able to pick up The Death of Wolverine issues 1-3 at the Midtown booth. The fourth and final issue arrives shortly thereafter on October 15.

Swing by soon, since supplies of each are limited. You can also order the comics starting right now via Midtown Comics site.

GameNGuide will be at NYCC the entire time. You can follow along with our coverage here. If you find us, say hi!
