Samsung Galaxy Note 4 News: T-Mobile Customers Report Advanced Shipments Of The New Phone, Confirming Earlier Rumors And Providing Early Unboxing Photos

T-Mobile Customers Hit The Jackpot With Early Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Shipments

T-Mobile customers got a pleasant surprise yesterday morning when several reportedly received shipment notices that their new Samsung Galaxy Note 4 was out for delivery several days before the October 17 release date.

The news, posted over at Android Central, was soon supplemented by several posts on their forums that included pictures of delivery confirmations the posters had received for Monday. One user who must have been early on the postman's route Monday morning was even able to post a series of early unboxing photos. According to that user, the Note 4 comes with earbuds and a collection of replacement tips for the phone's stylus.

This little surprise first came up a couple of days ago when Samsung fans who had preordered the Galaxy Note 4 through T-Mobile on the first day of preorders reported getting shipping confirmations with an expected delivery date of Monday, October 13. Apparently, this wasn't simply a computer mix-up, and the phones really have started arriving several days in advance of the expected launch date.

Samsung Wants You To Know That Its Phone Doesn't Bend

Samsung has been counting on the Galaxy Note 4 to help it gain some market share back from Apple after the iPhone 6's astounding launch weekend last month. Galaxy Note 4 advertisements have not been afraid to confront the iPhone both indirectly and directly as it fights for the same phablet buyer base as the iPhone 6 Plus.

With a 5.7-inch screen, the Galaxy Note 4 just edges out the iPhone 6 Plus in terms of display size. Boasting three times as much RAM and faster processing speeds than the iPhone, however, the Galaxy Note 4 is just as impressive under the hood.
