Hulu Plus App On the Rise, Available on More Android Tablets

Hulu announced that their service, Hulu Plus, will now be available on Android tablets.

Android tablets that utilize the latest operating system update, Honeycomb or above, can now work with Hulu's new user interface.

The online video subscription company released a blog post which said:

"The new Hulu Plus app on Android introduces a clean, visually rich design to create an engaging way for you to discover content. We've improved the user experience with horizontal 'trays' so you can naturally swipe while browsing through TV shows and movies. The pages feature large thumbnails with beautiful visuals to show off your Android tablet's graphical prowess."

"We've organized our content library so it's easy to discover new shows and keep up with the shows you already love. Jump back into your favorite shows quickly and easily with the 'What You're Watching' tray and never miss a new episode or lose your place in a series," stated Hulu.

Users who own the following tablets below may now utilize Hulu Plus app for watching films or TV shows online.

Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime
Asus Eee Pad Transformer, Motorola Xoom
Motorola XYBoard 10.1

Certain popular tablets such as the Galaxy Tab 10.1 were surprisingly left off the list.  According to Hulu, this is "just the beginning of their Android tablet rollout." More Android tablets are scheduled to be added in the near future.

Hulu is co-owned by The Walt Disney Company and backed by NBC Universal and News Corp.  If you are an Android tablet owner, check out and download the Hulu Plus app for a $7.99  per month subscription.
