Head on over to PeeweesPlayhouseSneakPeek.com tomorrow, Saturday October 18 at 10 a.m. Eastern time for a "very special Pee Wee's Playhouse" event. The company will be showing off four of the episodes in all of their remastered, HD glory; plus an exclusive premiere of one of ten brand-new bonus featurettes making their debut on the collection.

And don't worry if 10 a.m. is just way too early to be waking up on a Saturday (it is, it really is). The event will air three times back to back for all the late risers out there. Expect it to end around 3 pm ET/12 noon PT

The complete series is arriving on Blu Ray next Tuesday, October 21. You can order it now for $94.99 via the official Shout! Factory site.

Pee-wee's Playhouse was conceived by comedian Paul Reubens and ran for 5 seasons from 1986 to 1991 on CBS. It was a colorful, spastic and very smart show that managed to teach while it entertained. The show featured a great number of wonderfully original characters (like Chairy! Cowboy Curtis!) and also included several well-known or soon-to-be well-known actors, such as Laurence Fishburne, the late Phil Hartman and even had Rob Zombie working as a production assistant.

It was the cornerstone of Saturday mornings for many a child of the 80s. We are very excited to have it back so a whole new generation can enjoy its particular style of magic. Set your alarms, it's almost time for the Pee-wee's Playhouse live stream!

AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!
