The game, based on the smash hit Nickelodeon show, is guaranteed to be the best TMNT-related media to come to the world. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Danger of the Ooze is built around a blend of 2D platforming and fast-paced brawler combat. Players can control their favorite Turtle or freely swap between them as each character has a unique and evolving set of strengths and combos.
The whole things play out over the show's main theme, which is fun and catchy in the way a song about turtles who also happen to be ninjas should be. Of the four major songs released across the series, I'd have to put this one above the dreadful Wiz Khalifa song (but brilliant Funny or Die video) from earlier this year, and slightly below the original movie's T U R T L E Power theme. Obviously, nothing can hold a candle to the brilliance of Vanilla Ice's 'freestyle' Ninja Rap from the classic of all classics: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 - The Secret Of The Ooze.
