Super Smash Bros For Wii U Stages: Pilot Wings Wuhu Island Level Revealed, Tour The Map As You Battle

Super Smash Bros Wii U will be largely similar to the 3DS version in terms of gameplay, characters, and stages, but there are notable differences between the two as well.

343 And Microsoft Announce The Halo Championship Series

The 3DS version had been the focus of most reveals leading up to its launch--the largest info dump for the Wii U edition was delivered recently in a livestream. The reveals included the board game-style Smash Tour: World Smash, eight player battles, playable Mewtwo, and more.

Grand Theft Auto 5 For PS4, Xbox One And PC Will Have A Full First Person Mode

Today's picture-one is posted daily on the Miiverse forums by series director Masahiro Sakurai--isn't a full feature or game mode, it is something we have yet to see. Following yesterday's Yoshi's Wooly World stage, another new level has been revealed. The top image shows off Wuhu Island from Pilot Wings, which Sakurai describes as follows, including a bonus image:

"Here's a new stage, Wuhu Island. Flying around Wuhu Island may remind you of the Pilot Wings stage, but this time we tour famous locations on the island."

"For example, here's the starting line of a power-cruising race. You may also find yourself at a mountain summit, in front of a fountain, on a suspension bridge, in a fighting arena, or riding on a boat. The stage really feels like a resort vacation."

You can watch for any details or announcements you may have missed in the "50 Fact Extravanganza" video below. While there's no Yoshi's Wooly World or Wuhu Island stages, it contains a look at the stage builder and the many other features mentioned above. Super Smash Bros for Wii U is due out November 21.
