New Dark Knight Rises Trailer to Launch with Avengers Film?

Batman fans are eagerly waiting for The Dark Knight Rises third trailer, which may be released in May.

According to Batman-News, a Spanish actor who dubs Christian Bale's voice for the new trailer leaked that the recording is completed and that the "TDKR trailer 3 is...WOW!!"

Rumors are also swirling that the new trailer may be released soon along with the upcoming Avengers movie on May 4.  It is interesting to know that The Dark Knight's final trailer was released with Iron Man's film in May 2008.

It would also mark nearly one year since the marketing team from Warner Bros. first launched The Dark Knight Rises official website in May 2011.  TDKR's viral marketing campaign utilized encrypted audio that sounded like chanting.  Once fans decipher the code, it provides a link to a Twitter page where the first official image of Bane was revealed.

Additional marketing materials have surfaced since then including a leaked prologue trailer featuring Bane.  The upcoming trailer may reveal even more footage of Bane, offering fans a closer look at the Dark Knight's foe.  Looking from past released trailers, Bane appears systematic in his terrorist plots and also a physical threat to Batman.

Actor Tom Hardy, who plays Bane in the latest Batman trilogy, shares his thought about Bane and comparing it to The Dark Knight's villain the Joker.

"The Joker didn't care-he just wanted to see the world burn, and he was a master of chaos and destruction, unscrupulous and crazy," said Hardy in an interview with Entertainment Weekly.

"Bane is not that guy. There is a very meticulous and calculated way about Bane. There is a huge orchestration of organization to his ambition. He is also a physical threat to Batman. There is nothing vague about Bane. No jokes. He's a very clean, clear villain."

It is also possible that TDKR's third trailer may hit theatres on May 11 with the release of Tim Burton's Dark Shadows film.  Whichever movie the folks at Warner Bros. decide, it may be safe to assume that the newest trailer will hit theatres in the upcoming weeks.  Batman fans stay tuned.
