Call Of Duty Advanced Warfare Exo Zombies Trailer Released, Game Mode Coming Early Next Year With Havoc DLC
Call of Duty's well-known zombie mode is getting a twist in Advanced Warfare: Exo Zombies are on the way.
The game's futuristic augmentation suit is being applied to the zombies, giving them advanced physical capabilities that will change the way the mode plays. The Exoskeleton suit allows players to jump higher and maneuver more nimbly, and now the same can be said for the zombies.
The first chapter of the Exo Zombies experience will be coming as part of next year's Havoc DLC, Sledgehammer Games announced. You will be able to purchase the pack separately, or get it as part of the season pass. Havoc is the first of four DLC packs, which will be more expensive to buy individually than the season pass (if you plan on buying every one).
The 'chapter' terminology seems to imply it's more episodic, perhaps with levels to playthrough, than the usual sandbox zombie modes. The trailer below is fully CGI, with no gameplay, but shows off what these more mobile zombies can do. The video mentions January as the start of the season, so that's likely when you can expect Havoc to launch.
