The next-gen version of WWE 2K15 has been out for a while now, and though it has not been received as favorably as its predecessor, WWE 2K14, it could not diminish the excitement and anticipation of fans.

2K Games has released a new video shot during the midnight launch event at two select Gamestop locations in San Francisco and Orlando back on November 18. Anticipation was high. The lines stretched around the block and each city was looking forward to meeting one of their wrestling idols: the legendary Hulk Hogan or the ever popular Sting. The number of fans who had their faces painted in Sting's signature 'Crow-esque' style were legion, and even the live orchestra that serenaded the folks in line while they waited were done up in honor of the former WCW champion.

Sting signed to WWE back in April, before which he was hailed as the greatest wrestler to never wrestle in the WWE ring. He has been wrestling for almost 30 years now and has one of the most loyal fanbases in all of professional sports entertainment. Naturally, the line was around the block.

Just look at the faces of the people. Their excitement, their hope. They have been brought together for a singular purpose, a game, a piece of entertainment. You do not need to know anything about wrestling to feel a sense of camaraderie. Maybe you've waited in line for tickets or a phone or some unnecessary item, no matter what though, it's important enough for you to take a few hours out and commiserate with your fellow fans.

WWE 2K15 is out now on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
