We all remember "The Dark Knight," which raked in over $1 million and is now #12 in the list of highest grossing films of all time. Four years later, fans of Batman will finally be able to witness a new adventure with "The Dark Knight Rises." The theatrical poster was released yesterday and has fans even more excited.
"A Fire Will Rise" is the tag line of the new film and Batman, played by Christian Bale for the third and final time, stands front and center in the midst of falling shards of glass and debris. Overall, the poster is pretty creative, as one can clearly see the discrete outline of the Bat-Signal through the bright flames overhead. Many people however, were not impressed with the poster, because it lacked creativity and/or was poorly designed. Of course, everyone will have their opinion, but one thing is for sure, the trailer for the movie appears as though it is intended to impress 100%.
"The Dark Knight Rises" will premiere in theaters on July 20.
