The specs for the United Kingdom edition of "Far Cry 3" have been released and they seem to trump the local version for now. The "Insanity Edition," which will hit European shores on September 6th, include exlcusive--for now--DLC including six new missions, a new "memorable character" according to the press release and two weapons.
The third installment in the "Far Cry" franchise goes for a combination of "vacation turned wrong" by way of the Alex Garland's "The Beach" mixed with some old fashioned mercenary action. The nameless protagonist deals with multiple factions on a seemingly tranquil island that's anything but. Another perk for the "Insanity Edition" is a bobblehead of antagonist and generally awesome crazy person Vaas Wahine as seen in this trailer:
Plus there's the added swag of a belt pounch, exclusive survival guide and first shot at DLC that you'll likely not see for a while. But again, it's UK-only for now.
