Is Street Fighter 25th Anniversary Collector’s Set worth the money?

Hardcore "Street Fighter" fans are in for a special treat. Capcom recently announced that a Street Fighter 25th Anniversary Collector's set will be made available to honor this renowned franchise.

This box set will be sold for $149.99 and includes the following:

- Past and present Street Fighter games: Playable on Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles, will be: Super Street Fighter II turbo HD Remix, Street Fighter III 3rd Strike Online Edition, Super Street  fighter IV Arcade Edition, and Street Fighter X Tekken

- Light up Ryu statue: This highly-collectable Ryu statue stands at 8" tall and features him in mid-Shoryuken, with flames lit from below

- Exclusive video: Two-disc Blu-Ray set that includes a documentary highlighting the influence the franchise has had on fans (and vice versa) throughout the years. The videos also includes Street Fighter IV and Super Street Fighter IV Anime movies, as well as all episodes of the Street Fighter animated series and Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie

- 11-Disc soundtrack: The game music for Street Fighter over the past 25 years, in addition to remixes and fan-created music

- 64-page hardcover Art Book: A tribute to "Street Fighter" game fans from all over the world; it includes fan pieces submitted by both professional and aspiring artists

- Ryu's Belt: The full-size martial arts black belt is a replica of the one Ryu wear and also includes his classic "Fūrinkazan" in kanji

- Certificate of Authenticity: Each set comes individually numbered, complete with a certificate of authenticity

You have to admit, that's a lot of stuff... but is it worth the $150? You can bet there will be a lot of discussion regarding this upcoming box set release, in the next few months. So you can either deliberate or start saving up.

The Street Fighter 25th Anniversary Collector's Set will be available on September 18 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
