In just about a week, fans of The Sims can sink their sweet tooth into a brand new game. The trailer for The Sims 3: Katy Perry's Sweet Treats was unveiled yesterday and has Sims fans anticipating an enjoyable gameplay.

In the video background, you can hear Katy Perry's popular song "Last Friday Night" being sung in Simlish. If you're a fan of The Sims franchise, then you already know that Simlish is a fictional language that is featured in the Sims series. The pop icon first made her appearance in The Sims 3: Showtime and then players were granted a special Katy Perry edition entitled, The Sims 3 Showtime: Katy Perry Collector's Ediction, which included her themed objects, hairstyles, and venue based on her concept for her album Teenage Dream.

The featured trailer establishes the game's colorful scheme and downright creative look, from the banana split sundae sofas to the ice-cream cone overhead lights. Everything was inspired by Katy Perry's real-life clothing (See slideshow above) and props.
