During today's Direct livestream, Nintendo revealed an epic new bundle for Capcom's upcoming Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate.

Grey and black and emblazened with a Monster Hunter logo, this version of the New 3DS Xl it's one damn good-looking system. Available for $229.99 (twenty dollars more than the base price of $199.99), it comes packaged with a download code for the latest installment and will do a great job of kickstarting your new system's library. Not only does it look great, it's ten bucks cheaper than buying the game and system separately.

“We are only a couple of weeks into 2015, and Nintendo is already starting the year off with a bang,” said Scott Moffitt, Nintendo of America’s executive vice president of Sales & Marketing. “With New Nintendo 3DS XL coming very soon and an enormous library of exclusive Wii U and Nintendo 3DS games launching throughout the coming months, it has never been a better time to be a Nintendo fan.”

Monster Hunter 4 Ulimate will be completely playable with existing 3DS systems but with the New Nintendo 3DS XL you'll experience "enhanced graphics" (which are undetermined), C-stick functionality and customizable ZL and ZR buttons.

I played Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate back at last year's Comic Con and it was a blast, but it is definitely missing that second analog stick on the standard and XL versions of the 3DS. The C-stick on the New 3DS will undoubtedly be invaluable for the game.

Capcom has also announced that select players will soon receive early access to a demo for the game on 3DS that will include both single and multiplayer options- don't forget that this is the first game in the series that is playable online with three other friends.

Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate will be released on February 13, 2015 alongside the New Nintendo 3DS XL. The bundle will be available exclusively at GameStop.
