After the success of the game’s first PvP season, Grinding Gear Games is hosting Path of Exile’s first PvP invitational tournament this weekend. Gentlemen, ladies, exiles- sharpen your blades.

American and European players will have a chance to compete for not only everlasting glory, but several gaming peripherals from Razer as well as online currency from Karma Koin.
32 players – 16 from each region – will face off against one another in a series of two-three hour long double elimination tournaments. Each tournament will consist of eight Standard league – for the softer side of things, and eight Hardcore league tournaments made up of 1v1 matches and a winner will be chosen from each match type.

These competitors will then fight a grudge match to determine an overall winner of their region's invitational. All participants have been selected based on their performance during this season's, weekly PvP events and tournaments. Currently, 16 of the 32 players have been selected, and GGG is waiting on the remaining results from Season One to determine who they will be up against.
