Killer is Dead Gets Notes from Lollipop Chainsaw

Killer is Dead is the next game coming from the partnership between Kadokawa Games and Suda 51's Grasshopper Studios. According to Andriasang, Kadokawa's CEO gave an interview recently describing how all of the reactions to Lollipop Chainsaw, from enthusiastic to "bad," have influenced their newest game.

The gameplay for Killer emerged in April where players would be an "Exeuctioner" that hunts down criminals with his sword a~la No More Heroes. Although how the criticisms surrounding Lollipop effect Killer is a little odd. Will they just be gameplay mechanics, or actual plot and story tweaks?

And no, as far as all promotional art and plot goes, this isn't a Killer 7 sequel of any sort. In fact, as Kotaku described it as "a 'Dark Side 007' and features James Bond style Bond Girls and sword play, much like No More Heroes, but with new twists."

Except now it'll be told how to either follow the cheerleader, or told to ignore hostages and focus on the three-part boss battles. Personally, we hope the "theme song while in Super mode" sticks, since it would add to those James Bond moments if the theme could play while we cut up stuff in slow motion.
